Introduction to Blood Bags

I. Introduction
A disposable blood bag is an essential medical device widely used in blood collection and transfusion procedures.

II. Material
Made of medical – grade PVC (polyvinyl chloride). This material is selected for its biocompatibility, chemical stability, and ability to be sterilized effectively. Medical – grade PVC meets strict safety standards in the medical field, ensuring that it does not cause adverse reactions when in contact with blood.

III. Color
Transparent. The transparent color allows medical staff to easily observe the blood inside the bag, check for any signs of coagulation or contamination during blood collection and storage processes.

IV. Capacity Options
There are four different capacity choices: 250ml, 350ml, 450ml, and 500ml. These various capacities can meet different requirements depending on factors such as the amount of blood needed for different patients, different medical procedures (e.g., routine blood tests may require smaller amounts, while major surgeries may require larger volumes).

V. Needle Specification
Equipped with a 16G needle. The gauge of 16G is relatively thick, which allows for relatively fast blood flow during collection, reducing the time required for the procedure while still ensuring safety and minimal pain for the donor or patient.

VI. Application
Exclusively used in the medical field. It plays a crucial role in blood banks for blood storage, hospitals for various surgeries and treatments that require blood transfusion, and in research laboratories for blood – related studies.
